Awaken your senses as you take in the fresh salt air and temperate breezes on one of North America’s largest inland saltwater seas aboard an Alpha 42 Catamaran. This customized charter features hidden gems of the Bras d’Or Lakes, part of the UNESCOBiosphere Reserve. You and your group can anchor in a secluded cove to explore by paddle-board, dive, and swim the crystal clear waters, or just enjoy the natural beauty from the catamaran deck. You can also take the wheel, assist with mooring, or turn off the engines to experience the tranquility of travelling by wind, with some expert tips (and few stories) from your captain.
Itinerary:
- Guests will be picked up from Cabot Cape Breton for the one-hour scenic drive to the tranquil, seaside village of Baddeck, located along the Bras d’Or Lakes, in the heart of Cape Breton Island.
- After meeting your Captain, embark on a 4- hour guided sailing charter of the Bras d’Or Lake UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, featuring over 1,250 km (790 miles) of coastline.
- Each charter includes a Charcuterie board, featuring local flavours while optional meal arrangements can be made at time of booking. Choose from a delicious locally catered meal or make use of the modern galley kitchen, which is well-equipped with fridges, freezer, and cooking stove.
- Upon completion of the charter, guests will be shuttled back to Cabot Cape Breton.
